Which all-terrain tire is the quietest?
Bridgestone Duelers are about the quietest AT tires out there. Had them on several vehicles that didn’t see much more than a dirt road or a grassy yard. They wear good, and have good traction on wet/slick roads. Usually noise isn’t a concern if you’re after AT tires. Tread design can have a much greater effect on gas mileage. For example, a really aggressive, heavy all-terrain tire can cause a vehicle to get 1 to 2 mpg less than it would with an ultra-fuel-efficient highway or street tire.On paved roads, all-terrain tires often produce more road noise and offer a rougher ride than dedicated road tires. Due to their heavier tread patterns, they can also have slightly lower fuel efficiency.
Are falken Wildpeak MT tires noisy?
As expected, these tires are not perfectly quiet. And no mud terrain ever will be. Fortunately, the Nokian Outpost nAT is really good on pavement, wet or dry. I immediately noticed that these tires roll smoothly and very quietly, especially given their aggressive tread.
