What is better than all season tires?
All-Weather tires perform well in both summer and winter seasons. But all-weather tires are better than all-season tires in the winter. All-weather tires carry the 3 peak mountain snowflake symbol and all-season tires typically do not. Both all-season and all-weather tires are designed for year-round use. That means you can put a set of all-season or all-weather tires on your car or truck and use them every day, in almost any weather.
What are the disadvantages of LT tires?
Lt tires also have extra material in the sidewall and under the tread that protects the tire from damage. In the other hand, lt tires won’t ride as smooth, be as fuel efficient or last longer than a regular p-metric (passenger)tire. Because of their stiffer sidewall, lt tires don’t absorb bumps very well, causing more vibrations and road noise, particularly in lighter trucks and suvs. That’s why we typically only recommend using lt tires on larger trucks, suvs and vans, or for use in off-road conditions.
