It really comes down to weight of the tire/rim and rolling resistance. We had BFG KO2s on factory rims and they were awesome. But they are an on/off road tire so the aggressive tread has more rolling resistance than a street tire.Km3 is heavier and will get less gas milage, and rob power. It is superior in all off-road conditions. Great in mud, rocks, deep snow.Replaced my BFG KO2s with these KM3 3 years ago and I could not be happier with the performance & look of these tires. The on road and off-road performance has been outstanding.
