All tires have some noise. The CrossClimate 2 tires I bought for my Model 3 had less high frequency noise than the stock tires. The CC2 tires did have a lower frequency noise that I found easier on my ears. They were much, much better for traction on snow and ice than the stock tires. I’ve driven on ice, snow, rain, and dry roads, and the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires have performed exceptionally well in all these conditions. There was no excessive noise on dry roads, and they ran as smoothly as any summer tire I’ve ever owned.Their traction and ride were always superb. I just replaced them with the same tires because I was so satisfied with them. I just tried Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 on a 2018 Lexus GX 460 and find them too hard and noisy. The Latitude Tour HP is far superior in my opinion.
