Are Falken Wildpeak AT3W any good?
Great traction off-road, and in wet weather. Been through cold and light snow with no traction issues. I’ve only ever lost traction on command. Incredible tread wear with an even pattern across all 4 tires. The Toyo Tires Open Country AT3 is a fantastic all-terrain tire that balances off- road fun and smooth on-road rides. It grips well in mud, snow, and even when the roads are wet, making it super reliable. Plus, it’s quieter and lasts longer than its competitors.Treadwear is even and ride quality is great. Very minimal road noise. They are great on gravel and highway.Road Noise: Experiences with road noise are mixed. Some users find Toyo tires to be quiet, even with aggressive tread patterns, while others report increased noise levels as the tires age.We were impressed overall with the low noise, smooth ride, aggressive looks and, above all, confidence-inspiring traction. The Open Country AT3 did not provide the best fuel economy, but for us, that is outweighed by all the benefits of this tire.

The Falkens are really good in the snow, especially in blizzard-like conditions on the expressway. Tire wear has also been really good. They were confidence inducing, aggressive off road and very well mannered on the road. For the day-to-day commute, I noticed that even though the tyres looked aggressive they were very quiet, maybe only marginally noisier than the road tyres that the vehicle had on prior. Our conclusions so far are that on and off road handling in both wet and dry conditions is excellent and the wet weather breaking on bitumen is good.
