Are KO3 good in mud?
They’re fine on pavement and snow and dry conditions off road , and even light mud but in any kind of sticky mud they pack up and turn into slicks. Great snow and ice traction, especially when coming to a stop, after 2 days of snow fall. I was thoroughly impressed, this was coming from running the Discoverer XLT4 All Terrain tires and those were pretty good too.

My ONE gripe with the KO3 is that they are only offered as an E-rated tire for 16 wheels, the standard wheel size of most Tacomas.
Are ko3s quieter than KO2?

These tires come with a 50,000-mile warranty, and from what I can tell so far, they should have no issues getting there. While slightly more expensive than the KO2, I believe it more than makes up for it with even better on and off-road performance. I’ll write a new post after I clock at least 5,000 more miles.
Are KO3 Tyres any good?
It impresses with excellent road manners, combining low noise with class-leading comfort over larger impacts, making it a very easy tyre to live with day to day. Off-road, it delivers superb traction and durability across sand, gravel, and rock, with its robust construction shrugging off harsh terrain. They perform well on and off road, look good, aren’t noisy, and with an RRP of around $189 to $369 per corner ($339-369 for the 285/65 R18 tested), they’re certainly tyres that I would be expecting to see more and more of around the traps.
