Is the NT05 tire noisy on the highway?
Good overall tire. A bit pricey, but I like them. I feel confident going into and coming out of corners at higher speeds. Road noise is minimum. These are drag tires so the star ratings don’t really apply here. The tires hook great at the track and on the street for daily driving. They lasted longer than expected too. They need to warm up a little bit but overall I’m happy.

Truly the best tire for a performance car I have been through many tires for street and strip and nothing can do what the NT05 could do. I had Michelin’s, Goodyear’s, Hoosier drag radials and Mickey Thompson drag radials. As far as street use goes not one tire I have had could come close. NT05 Customer Reviews Great for trackday so works well with suspension mods, could care less about street performance…. So far so good – these replaced NT555s and they are an upgrade. Good overall tire. A bit pricey, but I like them.
