Is it okay to buy only two tires?
At Goodyear, we always recommend installing four new tires at a time for better handling, comfort and performance. If you prefer to replace tires in pairs, and if they are the same size as the tires already on your vehicle, we recommend you install both new tires on the rear axle. While it may be tempting to replace only two at a time, mixing new and worn tires can create a size difference from front to back, which can lead to damage to your vehicle.
